In this activity you will:

• use In house or In health to create an article
• work with two programs which are open at the same time
• see how hypertext can be used as a way of showing instructions
• create an article to help with key learning strategies.

Before you start working with In house or In health, have a look at the brief introduction to the programs by clicking on the image on the right.

To complete this activity you will need to have In house or In health running at the same time as you are running this course. To load the program:

• put the CD-ROM in the drive
• click on the Start button (usually at the bottom left of your screen)
• click on Programs
• select the program you wish to run.

To switch (‘toggle’) between the two programs, hold down the Alt key and press the Tab key.

When you have written your article, think about how you could use this facility to help teach the three key reading strategies.
